Challenging Trips: Our Black Diamond Adventures
These are the most
challenging trips we offer; they include longer
distances, bigger hills, long hikes, exposed paddling,
and full days of activity. We recommend a higher
degree of fitness and training to make the most of
your black diamond experience.
The difficulty will vary with weather and/or road conditions. If you are unsure, choose a guided trip. The vehicle support can help you get over any hill, and can turn even the most difficult trip into an easy one!

Wales: Brecon Beacons to Mt. Snowdon June 26 - July 2, 2011
7 days of very hilly cycling on paved roads with stops at narrow gauge railways, castles, and slate caves. Enjoy luxurious lodging and a choice of fine dining or pub carousing on some nights. This may be Freewheeling’s most challenging ride.
Yukon Alaska Multisport July 10 - 15, 2011
6 days toexplore the 'Golden Circle' cycling through remote alpine landscapes, river rafting, kayaking and also one night of camping in the midnight twilight. The fjord cruise from Haines to Skagway is spectacular and the epic bike climb from Skagway to White Pass is life changing!
