Racing:
Racing-style bikes, with dropped handlebars and brake lever shifters, these agile bikes have narrow tires, and are a delight for those who like riding a light, fast bike. We use Trek 1500 or equivalent, with triple cranks.

Hybrid:
The riding position is more comfortable and upright. These are the bikes we recommend and supply for most riders. We use Trek 7.5fx or equivalent.

Mountain:
Equipped with smooth road tires, which makes them much easier to propel down paved or gravel roads, they are provided instead of hybrids when the surfaces are rougher, such as in Iceland and Costa Rica. We use Trek 6500 or equivalent.

Bicycles, seakayaks, and related equipment is available for rent at our HQ in Nova Scotia and with delivery anywhere else in Atlantic Canada. Guided day trips are also available. Please reserve ahead of time; we work on an appointment basis. Toll-free 800-672-0775.

Trailer bike:
Attach one to the back of any adult's bike to turn it into a tandem suitable for children up to 4’10” tall. They can assist you by pedalling, or can simply freewheel as you do all the work. They have no directional or braking control.

 

Tandem:
These are available in limited quantities in Atlantic Canada only. Please ask about their suitability on your preferred adventure. Tandems can sometimes be shipped to other locations, in which case extra shipping charges may apply. Provided bike may vary from picture.

Trailers:
We use really cool Burley D’Lite trailers, with a total weight of 17 lbs, and a towing capacity of 100lbs. They are suitable for one or two children, and have storage pockets, rain covers, and sunscreens. Please reserve well in advance.

 

Seakayaks
Independent kayak rentals only available if qualified, at our discretion.
Single: $55/day; $225/week
Tandem: $75/day; $275/week
Wetsuits (farmer john/jane & booties): $20/day; $55/week.
Delivery free to Hubbards. Delivery available at nominal cost anywhere in Nova Scotia.
