Eastern Europe Bike & Walking Tours
Much of Eastern Europe was behind the Iron Curtain before the early nineties. We used to talk about being the first people to bike tour through Albania, or to explore the Croatian coast by bicycle or seakayak. Now, bike tours and walking vacations in Croatia are as popular as riding along the Danube, Elbe, or Moselle Rivers on beautifully-maintained bike paths. This whole area shows signs of change as it makes the transition between recent wartime to current peacefulness. It's an excellent time to tour by bicycle or on foot.
